Paying Attention to Details in Financial Discovery

Let me tell you a story about going four rounds in the ring just to obtain a general ledger

Round 1: Only the profit & loss section of the general ledger was produced.

Round 2: Only the liabilities and equity section of the general ledger was produced.

Round 3: The asset section of the general ledger was finally produced. But was missing a page.

Round 4: Missing page was produced and contained an undisclosed bank account.

The undisclosed bank account was then produced and contained the spouse's slush fund. Coincidentally, thereafter Mr. Slush finally paid up to settle the case...
